In 2002, the Act Too Players youth programming began as a single class offering on one day a week. Over the past 18 years, we have expanded our theatre class offerings to include a range of top-notch acting classes, dance classes for the performer, behind the scenes classes, vocal lessons, and our well-known musical theatre program. Our instructors are working Nashville professionals in the areas that they are teaching which will provide your child with relevant knowledge of theatre skills.

Our youth education programming is designed to give each student the opportunity for a well rounded performing arts education. We are located in Franklin, TN and within easy access to Brentwood, Spring Hill, Nashville, and Murfreesboro.  We pride ourselves in being one of the most respected training programs for youths interested in the performing arts.

Whether you are an experienced performer looking to hone your acting abilities or someone who is wanting to try acting for the first time--our classes are perfect for you. Our classes are designed to help with monologues, scene development, character development, improvisation, & audition techniques. This semester we are also offering a couple of classes in acting for the camera.

Our vocal performance classes are aimed at providing instruction through different music styles. Voice training basics taught through the learning of solo and group numbers. These classes give students a strong foundation in vocal performance within a small (maximum of 10) class setting.

Dance is an integral part of performing especially in the musical theatre genre. Our dance classes are geared for the theatrical performer who are wanting to strengthen their performance skills in jazz, tap, hip-hop, and ballet. Our goal is to focus on dance for the theatre performer.

In our efforts to offer a selection of classes for all students, we have expanded our online course offerings.
